Dr. Elspeth Holder
Dr. Elspeth Holder was born and raised in Florida. She loved animals from an early age, spending every spare hour riding horses and encouraging her family to accumulate a number of beloved animals including fish, mice, a golden retriever, a basset hound, and a feisty tabby cat. She attended Williams College, double majoring in History and French. Dr. Holder worked in law, education, and agriculture and lived abroad for 4 years before deciding to return to the U.S. to pursue a career in what she had been most passionate about as a child – animals!
Dr. Holder attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University. After graduation, she and her husband left the cold Ohio winters behind for sunny southern California. Dr. Holder started her career at a busy hospital in San Bernardino County, where she discovered interests in dentistry, dermatology, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Holder spends most of her free time with her husband and two dogs, Betty and Auggie. She loves hiking, camping, practicing yoga, going to the beach, exploring international cuisine, and traveling.
