Dr. Laura Alexander was born and raised in Southern California. During high school she worked at a horse rescue that worked with children to rehabilitate the animals. Undergraduate was at Cal Poly Pomona pre veterinary program and worked on the colleges farm.  

Dr. Alexander attended veterinary school at University of Missouri. After graduation, she went to southern illinois for her first position at a rural practice. There  She has an interest dentistry and internal medicine.  

Dr. Alexander spends her free time with her dog Fezzik learning agility. She also loves curling up with her cat Ev with a good book.
